One-to-one private sewing tuition for adults and children at Creative Space
At Creative Space Bristol we offer private machine sewing tuition for adults and children from 8 years old with our
in-house sewing tutor Lauren Holloway.
If you're a beginner to using a sewing machine or have a little experience and would like to improve your skills Lauren can provide one-to-one classes tailored to your needs and at a time suitable for you.
Would you like to learn how to use your sewing machine? Do you have a project you'd like some help on? Does your child want to learn the basics of sewing in a calm and supportive environment? Do you or your child have extra learning needs?
Private tuition is ideal for anyone who would prefer one-to-one guidance or who has a specific project they would like to work on.
children's tuition
Lauren has experience teaching machine sewing skills to children from 8 years old in both group and one-to-one settings.
Private tuition makes a wonderful gift for a birthday and your child will leave with a lovely handmade item to cherish along with new sewing skills they can develop further if they wish.
Enjoy the experience together or drop your child off for the duration of the class.

She did everything from cutting out to completing the finished article in a 2-hour session and came away feeling that she had really achieved something, with something useful to take home and know she had created. All tuition takes place at our lovely studio on the High Street in Staple Hill. We have sewing machines and all the sewing accessories you'll need for the class but if you'd prefer to learn using your own machine you are also welcome to bring it.

rates for private tuition
Private tuition is £30 p/h, minimum 2 hour booking.
Includes sewing machine and accessory hire if needed.
Sessions can be booked on weekdays, evenings and weekends depending on studio availability.
If you require materials for your project they can be purchased separately.
